And they embrace the transition to digital, weaving digital into their organization’s DNA.
Don't miss this engaging opportunity with fellow leaders to gather industry knowledge and inspiration from each other. Learn how to identify benefits to drive business results, by aligning resources & initiatives strategically, by delivering value realization and by becoming a truly digital organization. Session Title: Manage Your Organization Masterfully with Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
Project Portfolio Management (PPM) provides the ability to reduce cost, increase delivery efficiency, save revenue for other investments, and effectively deploy the organization’s workforce to strategically aligned initiatives. Deloitte Consulting LLP’s PPM practice leader provides insights for technology and business leaders to better deliver for their respective businesses using PPM.
PPM provides direct visibility into a leader’s organization, thus providing the information required to lead and make decisions authoritatively. It can be applied to many industries at varying levels of organizational maturity. By focusing on people first, then on process—and viewing technology as an enabler—you can use PPM to guide your business to maturity. If applied effectively, PPM helps masterfully command one’s organization.

After participating in this interactive session, participants will understand:
- The holistic, closed loop view of PPM
- Leading practice views used to strategically manage project and resource portfolios
- The balance of People, Process, and Technology required to successfully implement PPM capabilities

Chris has 20 years’ experience in business strategy and management. He spent the last 15 years of his career helping Deloitte’s largest, global clients govern and manage their organizations with Project Portfolio Management (PPM). Chris is known across industries and across the PPM technology circles as an innovator and thought leader in PPM strategy and implementation.
Chris leads Deloitte’s PPM Practice and has spent the last 10 years of his career building that practice in the United States. He additionally has helped develop PPM practices in Brazil, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, and Canada.

Session Title: Building Your Digital DNA
To thrive in an increasingly technology-dominated world, modern organizations need to adopt a unique set of traits that are enabling the world's top digital companies to dominate the competition—traits we call their "Digital DNA." These traits, including agility, collaboration, and constant disruption, should be at the heart of everything a modern digital organization does.
A recent study by Facebook and Deloitte found that most organizations surveyed are still at the stage of "doing digital" rather than "being digital"—using digital technologies to make incremental improvements to the status quo, but not yet weaving digital into their organization’s DNA. This finding is consistent regardless of company size, industry or geography. Mike will share proprietary data and insights from multiple industries tackling this digital transformation.

After engaging with this interactive session, participants will understand:
- What is means to be a digital organization today
- What are the 23 traits of a company’s Digital DNA
- How to embrace disruption to unlock digital transformation.

With over 23 years of experience in delivering strategic transformation in Marketing, Sales, Digital Strategy, and Customer Experience, Mike Church is a Managing Director at Deloitte Digital focusing on the Travel, Hospitality and Restaurant industries. An avid pioneer in the digital marketing and technology space, Mike previously led all aspects of marketing for E la Carte, a Silicon Valley based company specializing in restaurant table-top technologies, led the launch of Darden Restaurant's Digital Marketing transformation as well as Sales Development and Cross-Platform Solutions at GOOGLE and YouTube.
