Vision

The vision of PMI Chicagoland Speaker's Bureau is to be the place of choice for organizations looking for dynamic and expert speakers on the topic of Project Management and its applications in business and in life.

Mission

To identify, develop and market dynamic speakers from among our chapter membership on the topic of Project management so organizations can benefit from thier expertise and derive value from improved understanding of project management best practices while providing our Speakers Bureau members oppurtunities for personal growth and wider recognition.

Organizations seeking speakers will not have to pay any speaker fees. Participation in the Speaker's Bureau is limited to presenters who are willing to speak at events on a pro bono basis. PMI Chicagoland is not liable to for any damages or inconvenience caused as a result of event cancellation by the requesting org or no shows by the presenter.

With your involvement, you will help promote project management and our community:

  • Take your personal presentation skills to the next level and be recognized as an expert in our field
  • Earn up to five (5) Professional Development Units (PDUs) for speaking on a Project management topic
  • Broaden your professional network

 

Potential Speakers Bureau Members

The potential speakers for PMI Chicagoland are required to provide the following information:

  • Provide a video and an outline of their presentation to the screening committee led by the VP Community Outreach and the Speakers Bureau Chair
  • Complete contact information with PMI and other references to validate the speakers speaking skills
  • PMI Chicagoland being a non-profit organization, speakers must be willing to speak on a pro bono basis with the exception of any travel related expenses reimbursed by the Organization that requested the speaker
  • Speakers must consistently verify their contact information periodically to the associated Speakers Bureau Chair
