Former Chairman and CEO of Baxter International

Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr. is an executive partner with Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, Illinois and a Clinical Professor of Management and Strategy at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He was named the 2008 Kellogg School Professor of the Year. Harry is the author of a bestselling leadership book entitled “From Values to Action: The Four Principles of Values-Based Leadership”.
He is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Baxter International Inc., a $12 billion global healthcare company. He became Baxter's chief executive officer in January 1999, and assumed the additional responsibility of chairman of Baxter's board of directors in January 2000. Mr. Kraemer is active in business, education and civic affairs. He serves on the board of directors of a number of corporations. He is a member of the Dean’s Global Advisory Board of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and the Economics Club of Chicago. He is a past member of the Business Roundtable, the Business Council, and the Healthcare Leadership Council.

JON MIHALIC, PMP

Director of Fannie Mae’s Securitization Program Office

Jon Mihalic has over twenty years of program and project leadership experience infusing innovation and new thinking across corporate strategy.  Experience encompasses executive leadership, acquisition and P&L responsibilities, EPMO, managing programs and projects; leading innovative research and developing and institutionalizing program and project management capabilities for Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Mr. Mihalic is the Director of Fannie Mae’s Securitization Program Office. The Securitization program is a complex transformational program that establishes a new corporation (Common Securitization Solutions), modernizes Fannie Mae’s IT infrastructure and streamlines the operational model to ensure that Fannie Mae keeps its industry leading position. 
He is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in their Change Management Advanced Practitioner program.
Mr. Mihalic was an elected member of PMI's Board of Directors from 2009 to 2014, and represented Booz Allen Hamilton on PMI’s Global Executive Council.  He is a recognized speaker in program and project management and has spoken at management conferences around the world.

Silvia Prickel is the Managing Director of Application Development at United Airlines, accountable for Cargo Business Division solutions.  She is a veteran Information Technology executive with a proven track record of leading, managing and delivering highly successful business solutions to achieve revenue and efficiency targets. Her area of expertise and passion is in Business Strategy and Optimization, Organizational Change Management, and IT Service Management. Silvia is an IT Service Management certified professional, and a Six Sigma Black Belt. She is known for her thought leadership and is a sought-after keynote speaker at Technology Conferences around the world. Silvia also co-authored three books for IT Professionals. She advocates digital disruption and a technological revolution. Silvia is an active member of the Metropolitan Club Board of Governors, Project Management Institute Council, Connected Aircraft Advisory Board, and Association of Information Technology Professionals. Silvia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Clarke University.

 

KAREN MARKS

Vice President, Global Program Management Office, Baxter

As the Vice President of the Global Program Management Office for Baxter, Karen has responsibility for Project and Portfolio Management, the Sustaining Project Organization, and business processes including global project prioritization and the Product Development Lifecycle Management activities. Prior to joining Baxter, Karen was a Vice President in the Global Science and Innovation Organization at Bristol Myers Squibb (ConvaTec) which followed her role at Merck & Co, where she was the Director of Clinical Data Management Operations for the Americas Region. Earlier in her career, Karen spent 22 years within the AT&T Bell Laboratories family of companies where she held positions in Information Management, Manufacturing Operations and Labor Relations. Karen’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College in Human Resources Management, Master's Certification in Project Management from Steven's Institute of Technology and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

 

CAROLYN ROYCE

Executive Director Talent Management for Tenneco, Inc.

Carolyn Royce is the Executive Director Talent Management for Tenneco, Inc. Carolyn leads global talent review, performance management, learning and development and succession planning. Program Management has been defined as "pivotal role" at Tenneco. Carolyn and her team, along with Program Management leadership, have created robust job profiles, competencies, assessments and a development curriculum to ensure a strong talent pipeline is in place to support the growing business. Carolyn has a strong HR generalist background with additional experience in plant operations and finance. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective which enables her to better support her business partners. Carolyn's career with Tenneco spans 24 years.

 

DR. MARY CANNATA

Principal Consultant and Practice Leader for Change Leadership, Trissential

As a Principal Consultant and Practice Leader at Trissential, Mary is responsible for developing change leadership capabilities and best practices within Trissential and also with the clients she works with. Prior to working at Trissential, Mary worked for SC Johnson as a director of Organization Development responsible for creating a Center of Excellence for Change Management and building leadership capabilities within the organization. Before SC Johnson, Mary worked for Honeywell where she was an Organization Development Process Leader for the lean manufacturing initiative. Mary was responsible for the Organization Development (OD) process for building leadership capabilities and creating a lean culture in the manufacturing facilities within the global organization. Mary has OD experience working for other various industries such as Oil and Gas, Airlines, Retail, Finance and Technology. Her experience in the field of Organization Development spans 25 years. Mary has a doctorate in Organization Learning and Development from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

JORDAN KATZ

Senior Managing Consultant, Gallup

Jordan Katz, Senior Managing Consultant at Gallup, serves as a workplace and customer strategy expert to his portfolio of Fortune 1000 clients. Since becoming a business consultant in 2001, Jordan has managed large-scale consulting projects in the food and beverage, manufacturing, consumer products, high tech, financial services, and medical device sectors. Jordan consults with Gallup’s clients, applying the principles of behavioral economics to improve business performance by optimizing workplace, marketing, and operational strategies and increasing customer and employee engagement. He designs solutions and provides overall strategic direction and guidance to client executives. Jordan received a bachelor’s degree in business from Vanderbilt University. He received his master’s of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.

In addition, he has filled senior executive roles in Consumer Finance and Commercial Specialty Insurance. Prior to founding ParkWood Advisors, he was a senior partner at Ernst & Young in the UK and US. filling a number of client service, business development and practice management roles, including head of methodology development, global CIO, head of emerging technologies research, sponsor for global vendor relations and head of innovation and  strategy.
