Topic:        Scaling Agile: The Untold Truth presented by Ramon Tramontini

 Presentation Goals:

  •        Introduce PMI professionals to the seven knowledge areas we developed to address agile implementation on large teams, with more than 20 people.
  •        Share the experience we earned reporting real problems and solutions when we scaled our agile team up to 140 people, delivering software to big companies. 
  •        Build bridges between PMI and Agile mindset by structuring its concepts also into knowledge areas.
  •        Understand what, why and how we mixed agile practices into project management frameworks already established by PMI.

Ramon Tramontini is CEO at Objective Group in USA and the former COO at Objective Brazil. ?Having over 25 years of experience with software development, he has been working with Agile since 2001 applying the concepts and practices from methodologies such as XP, Scrum, and Lean/Kanban. ?As COO, he was responsible for dozens of projects and a multidisciplinary team comprised of more than 140 members. ?Ramon is also a frequent speaker around the world, sharing his experiences on agility in large scale teams. Jointly with academics, he has been developing the concept of "Organizational Ambidexterity" applied to large agile teams.
