PMI Chicagoland Chapter will be hosting a free Knowledge Sharing event on Monday, April 23rd.

Topic:    What we all should know about our brains and thinking, but nobody bothered to tell us.  With a little knowledge about how our brain works we can make a big difference in the results we get in our lives.

Robert Kauffman has been a psychotherapist since 1967. He has been trained in many modalities. He has worked in the mental health field and the substance field for many years. He has led a national employee assistance company and is currently president of Critical Thinking for Success LLC which is focused on helping people solve problems and live more productively. He has trained U.S. Marines to recognize improvised explosive devices, improve marksmanship, improve performance and improve behavior. He has been working with active Marines and military veterans for years to help them recover from PTSD and brain injuries. He is on the advisory for A Safe Haven which treats over 5,000 homeless a year and over 1,000 of them are veterans. The focus of most of his work is on neurofeedback and mental performance training.
