Greg Bush, Jr. is President and CEO of Bush Infotech Group, Inc. (B.I.G.), formerly known as KFA, Inc. B.I.G. is a management and information systems consulting and services firm. He has more than 25 years of project management managing large-scale information technology projects. Bush holds a Master of Science in Information Technology degree. Bush specializes in technology solutions for smart cities, capital construction programs, and facilities management. Over the last 20 years, Bush and the KFA team have implemented technologies that manage a total of $86 billion in projects and assets. Bush thrives on being an information technologist and has a passion for the power of data for project governance and controls.
In 2019, after over 20 years of successfully delivering high-finance technology implementation professional services, Bush designed and managed the development of PHAZE® to address the need to lower the cost of entry of enterprise systems for small businesses and entrepreneurs. PHAZE is a Web Collaboration Information System (with the power of an ERP) that eliminates disparate systems and brings project teams together under one platform. PHAZE was conceived for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Facilities Management industries, and then re-imagined and redeveloped for all industries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the only Cloud solution of its type owned and operated by a Black-owned firm. As a result of the creation of PHAZE, KFA won the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) 2020 “Minority Innovative Technology Firm of the Year” award. In addition to U.S. PHAZE delivery, Bush explores the African Diaspora to deliver PHAZE and teach the region how to utilize this new technology. The effort is creating jobs in Chicago and new services and opportunities for African businesses.
