PMI Chicagoland Toastmasters Club
The PMI Chicagoland Toastmasters Club is a dynamically growing group of Project Managers who enhance their speaking and leadership skills using the time-proven Toastmasters formula. PMI Chicagoland Toastmasters club is a specialty club that is open to all PMI Chapter Members.
Experienced professionals, and beginning speakers alike, can benefit from our practical, face-to-face learning program. Whether you are speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better. You will learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you are - to become better communicators and, because of enhanced speaking skills; better leaders.
At PMI Chicagoland Toastmasters, a member grows his/her skills by preparing a speech from a handbook with his/her mentor and improves by listening to positive and skill enhancing evaluation. A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 10 to 20 people who meet once every two weeks for about an hour. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, and presenting prepared speeches.
Visit us during our next meeting and after joining you will be able to receive PDUs for active participation in the meetings.
See the PDU breakdowns for each club meeting or club officer position.
