Business Outreach’s goal is to create strategic partnerships with local businesses and executives to promote and drive the value of project, program and portfolio management as a core capability to support organizational success; and to provide career services to enhance member value. There are three program areas; Corporate Outreach, Professional Association Outreach and Executive Outreach.

Corporate Outreach is focused on advancing the practice and profession of project management among businesses throughout the greater Chicago area in a conscious and proactive manner. The Ambassador Program is the “flagship” connecting the chapter to member organizations and businesses. [visit] |
Professional Association Outreach

Professional Association Outreach is to advocate for project management, PMI, and PMI Chicagoland among other professional associations, while bringing back valuable information and opportunities for PMI Chicagoland members. It aims to identify opportunities for joint involvement, helping other organizations understand the value of engaging with PMI Chicagoland for mutual benefit. [visit] |
Executive Outreach

The Executive Outreach supports the Executive Council, which exists to promote the strategic and operational value of Project Management, advancing the profession to the C-suite. The Council provides a thought leadership forum for select senior-level business leaders and project management executives to focus on tackling industry challenges, sharing trends, ideas, challenges, and other relevant topics.
